INCREASE/FRUITFULNESS/BEARING FRUITS: PROCESSES

The investment of God in us is supposed to produce all contained in the God life — the ability to live and function as God does.

To bear fruits or increase involves a process, direction or path along which we must travel. This implies that deliberate and conscious activities are required, not docility.

A tree or plant does not just sit and wait, then suddenly fruits appear. Neither would it grow on scorched soil to produce healthy leaves and flowers which bring forth fruits.

The process of a plant 🪴:

📌Firstly — the seed is planted in the soil & watered (rain). This leads to germination. 👉 The seed of the Word of God is planted in us and watered, then we are birthed as sons of God.

📌Secondly — the plant grows vertically upwards and downwards. The roots grow deep into the soil for nourishment while it angulates upwards towards the source and direction of the sunlight 👉 the son seeks and hungrily longs for insight

into knowledge of his source, which is The Father. He devours every true knowledge/material and his spiritual antenna is tuned to the Lord.

📌Thirdly — the plant utilizes all from the soil, water and sunlight to produce healthy green leaves, which give shade/shelter to all and breathes into the atmosphere to the benefit of all 👉 this renewed mind in intimate unison with The Lord begins to effortlessly influence/impact and determine what goes on around him.

📌Fourthly — the atmosphere and those who benefited from its leaves, flowers, sweet nectar and shade mingle with it to produce healthy delicious fruits in abundance 👉 the spiritual maturity and territorial dominance of the son breath on invisible and visible things to produce fruits which glorify the Father and prove to the world that we are His. 💃🏿

♨️ We are at different stages in our walk with the Father, but we should all be mindful to press on to full stature in Him, bearing fruits in and out of season.

PRAYER

My heart pants after You, O’Lord my God. I bear fruits in abundance to bring You glory.

The Lord is the true vine. We bear fruits when we abide in Him and The Father is glorified when we bear much fruit to prove we’re His disciples. John 15: 5-8.
